A few weeks ago I was able to spend a relaxing Sunday at the Cottonwood Arts Festival in Richardson, Texas. There were lots of great artists there, but Andy van Schyndle’s work caught my eye for his use of whimsy and color… he even calls his collective work “Wagalabagala”, which I think sums it up nicely. I ended up purchasing a print of one of his pieces, and he was generous enough to take a little time to chat with me a little about the painting that the print was based on. Here is a little eye candy so that you can experience his wonderful work as well…
