Ordering FAQ

Is there an order minimum?

We currently do not have an order minimum.

What are the shipping charges per item?

Please see our shipping information section for shipping rates.

Will I need to pay tax on the item?

Only Texas residents will be required to pay 8.25% sales tax on their purchase total. The tax will automatically be calculated and added upon checkout.

I'm having trouble completing my order, and/or getting errors during checkout?

Here is a list of common error responses and how they can be fixed:

  • Error: "Your billing information does not match your credit card" - Make sure you are typing your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit card billing statement. All spelling, abbreviations, capital letters, and punctuation should perfectly match what you see printed on your statement.
  • Credit card CVV codes

    Error: "Unable to verify card ID number." - The card ID number is the 3 digit code on the back of your credit card (the last 3 numbers above the signature panel).
  • Error: "Invalid expiration date. Must be in MMYY format." - The expiration date needs to be entered in a two digit month and two digit year format (ex. August 2009 would be 0809).
  • Error: "Merchant does not accept transactions from (Country)" - If you are an international customer, please be sure that you are choosing Paypal as your payment method. We do not accept direct credit card payments for international purchases, so all clients outside of the USA must pay via Paypal. If you still receive this error, please email us for further assistance.
  • PAYPAL Payments - Please be sure to click every "Continue" button, including the very last one that appears after you have submitted your Paypal payment. This will ensure that all information regarding your order is properly sent from Paypal to our web site. When you are finished you should end up back at ShopPlasticland.com. If the Paypal window is closed too early, or the last continue button is not clicked on, we may not receive your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, please visit our shipping information section to view a list of countries we ship to. During checkout, select PAYPAL in the "Pay With" menu. After pressing the "Place Order" button at the end of checkout, you will be taken to a Paypal payment screen where you can either use your existing Paypal account to submit payment, or continue without a Paypal account and use your credit card to pay.

Do I have to use a credit card to pay for my order?

In addition to credit cards, we also accept Paypal payments. During checkout, select Paypal in the "Pay With" menu. After confirming your order, you will be taken to a Paypal checkout screen where you can sign up for a new Paypal account, or use your existing Paypal account to pay for your purchase. We cannot accept personal checks, cash or money orders for purchases.

Shopping Bag FAQ

How do I add an item to my Shopping Bag?

There is an Add to Bag button located next to each product. To add that item to your bag, choose the desired size and/or color from the drop down menus and click the Add to Bag button. Your Shopping Bag will immediately update to include the new item.

How do I view the contents of my Shopping Bag?

There is a Shopping Bag button located in the navigation at the top of every page on this web site. You may click on this button at any time to view and/or edit the contents of your Shopping Bag. Additionally, there is a running total of the contents of your bag located in the navigation at the top, left corner of every page.

How do I remove an item from my Shopping Bag?

When viewing your Shopping Bag you will see a REMOVE button next to each item. Click REMOVE for whichever item you want out of your Shopping Bag. You will see your Shopping Bag displayed again, without that item.
