This dress has a very cute pattern and cut, and it's great to wear to an outdoor BBQ. However, the material's quality was not the best &40;that cheap cottony-material that looks like it will fade within 3 washes&41;, and it ran VERY large. I see that the site added that it runs large, which is good because you will need to order a size smaller than you normally wear if you want to buy this dress. Written Jun 3, 2012

The dress is beautiful in person, the print is vibrant and the color is saturated. However, the quality of the dress is a little lacking. The dress's back has smocking allowing for a better fit, but the dress also run a little large. I'm 5'7, 34 B and usually wear a size 8 and the medium hung off of my waist. I'm exchanging it for a smaller size in hopes that wil will fit better. Written Mar 9, 2012

I just received this dress as a birthday present. The person who ordered it for me got me an XL, which I thought would be too small considering the bust size on the size chart. I have a 40-41" bust & my waist is about 38" & the XL fits perfectly! The back has a great stretchy panel to it. I love this & it fits so well with my style & love for nautical life & octopus!
